The American Folklife Center presents Old-time Appalachian fiddling from Virginia by Eddie Bond and the New Ballards Branch Bogtrotters at the Coolidge Auditorium of the Library of Congress on Wednesday at noon. And then Saturday at 2pm it’s the American Folklife Center Summer Music Jam featuring blues with Phil Wiggins in the Thomas Jefferson Building.

On Friday, the Creative Alliance continues the Nisa’a series of Muslim women artists with Sandaraa, a collaboration of Pakistani singer Zeb Bangash and clarinetist Michael Winograd and his klezmer band.
