The American Folklife Center presents acoustic conjunto from New Mexico by Lone Piñon at the Coolidge Auditorium of the Library of Congress on Wednesday at noon (free!).

Lone Piñon will also be at the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage in Washington, DC on Wednesday at 6:00.

WTMD’s First Thursday Festival presented by Brewers Hill continues this week in Canton Waterfront Park. Six bands on two stages, still free: Bettye LaVette, Erika Wennerstrom, JD Wilkes & The Legendary Shack Shakers, Lo-Moon, Dave Hause & The Mermaid, and The Family Crest:. Music starts at 5:30pm.
