The Baltimore Folk Music Society sponsors English Country Dance every Monday at St. Mark’s on the Hill on Reisterstown Road and American Contra and Square Dancing every Wednesday at the Lovely Lane Church on St. Paul Street. The WTMD Film Series returns on Thursday with a free screening of the critically acclaimed documentary “Two Trains Runnin’,” about the search for two long-lost Mississippi blues musicians in the midst of the violent and tumultuous summer of 1964, also known as the Freedom Summer for the civil rights movement.
