Saturday is Helicon’s 32nd Annual Winter Solstice Concert at Kraushaar Auditorium of Goucher College in Towson. Helicon is Ken Kolodner (hammered dulcimer, fiddle, and hammered mbira), Chris Norman (wooden flutes, whistle, small pipes, and vocals), and Robin Bullock (guitar, mandolin, cittern, and piano). Also appearing are Brad Kolodner, Rachel Eddy, Sean McComiskey and step dancer Jonathan Srour. Two shows at 3:30 and 7:30.

Saturday is Folk Music Night at Perry Hall United Methodist Church on Belair Road from 7:00-10:00 pm. There’s an open mic, and featured guest Mike Hamilton. 410-529-7176
