Wow! Proyect Ha’Gummiyah resurfaces. I once reviewed their Dylan tribute album (as you can tell by the album’s Hebrew title, not a reverent hagiographic approach, but Noam Faust and the band sure appreciate those songs!) for DIRTY LINEN MAGAZINE when I stumbled onto them in Israel. Thanks for playing this. Has the informal release of way back been re-issued on a more formal disc label? Keep pulling stuff from this album cuz of all the U.S. and EU released poly-lingual cover tributes to Dylan there hasn’t been any Hebrew covers and Faust really compounds Dylan’s originals with his own adaptations into vernacular Hebrew. On mix tapes I’m always segueing from the Dylan (Daniel Lanois produced New Orleans session) original to Joan Osborne’s “Man In The Long Black Coat” to Proyect Ha’Gummiyah’s (The Rubber Band Project) “Ha’Ish B’Me’iyl Ha’Shachor” with the very ambiant African exteriors sound.
Warmly,

No reissue that I know of. Still the original CD you sent me years ago, with your English translations of song titles/etc. which are very helpful.
