Common Ground on the Hill‘s Traditions Week II of concerts and workshops runs through Friday at McDaniel College in Westminster musicians, artists, creators & thinkers. Music, dance, visual arts, yoga, film and more. Saturday is the Common Ground on the Hill Roots Music & Arts Festival at the Carroll County Farm Museum. The American Folklife Center presents a free concert of Hawai’ian slack key guitar by Ledward “Led” Kaapana at the Coolidge Auditorium of the Library of Congress on Wednesday at noon.

WTMD’s free First Thursday concerts continue this week in Canton Waterfront Park. Now double the fun with six bands on two stages: Robyn Hitchcock, The Weeks, Ron Gallo, Waxahatchee, Hollis Brown, and Outcalls.
