    Thank you DETOUR for noting the trial, barely covered in U.S., of Victor Jara’s tormentor and murderer in the Estadio Chile tried and convicted after decades of exile in Florida. Pete Seeger and Arlo Guthrie along with Adrian Mitchell being among the first in English-language World of Song to inform U.S., lament and commemorate.

    Our current focus with the rise of global fascism should be informed by the memories (media is highly selective) and the spiritual presence of all who disappeared, perished or were permanently marked along with all the other rounded-up victims of Washington-coordinated “Regime Change” of democratically elected Democratic Socialist Chilean President Salvador Allende and by extension the Operation Condor political, student and labor movements across Central and South America:
