The Charm City Folk and Bluegrass Festival Battle of the Bands is Friday at Union Craft Brewery.

The American Folklife Center presents “The Playford Assembly: Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Country Dance and Song Society,” with lecture, music and dance demonstrations presented by dance historian Graham Christian at the Coolidge Auditorium of the Library of Congress on Saturday at noon.
