The Baltimore Folk Music Society sponsors English Country Dance every Monday at St. Marks on the Hill on Reisterstown Road and American Contra and Square Dancing every Wednesday at the Lovely Lane Church on St. Paul Street. BFMS 40th Anniversary program on Saturday starts at Belvedere Square in Baltimore from 12 to 4:30 PM with music by The Organic Family Band, The Tanzania Ceili Band, and Will Play for Fish; dances called by Andy Kane; waltzes; and a performance by Charm City Rapper. A dinner is planned for 5 PM followed by more dancing at Lovely Lane Church from 7 to 11 PM. Midway Fair will be opening the Baltimore County Arts Guild’s Art Ag-Stravaganza on Saturday. It’s a full day of music, art, and food on the grounds of the Maryland Agricultural Resource Center on Shawan Road in Cockeysville.

On Saturday there’s a square dance with craft brews at Peabody Heights Brewery in Charles Village/Waverly.
