The American Folklife Center presents “CORRIDOS: The Story of a Mexican Ballad Tradition about Outlaws and Heroes,” a lecture by ethnomusicologist Juan Dies of Sones de México Ensemble at the Whittall Pavilion of the Library of Congress on Monday at 1pm, followed by a songwriting workshop in Spanish. Sones de México Ensemble will perform on Tuesday at noon at the Coolidge Auditorium.
