Common Ground on the Hill‘s Traditions Week II of concerts and workshops runs today through Friday at McDaniel College in Westminster. Instructors include Guy Davis, the duo FUNI from Iceland, Ken & Brad Kolodner, Bruce Molsky, Mollie O’Brien & Rich Moore, Bill and Livia Vanaver and many more. The Baltimore Folk Music Society sponsors English Country Dance every Monday at St. Marks on the Hill on Reisterstown Road and American Contra and Square Dancing every Wednesday at the Lovely Lane Church on St. Paul Street. The 3rd annual Red Wing Roots Music Festival takes place Friday through Sunday at Natural Chimneys Park in Mount Solon, VA. Host band The Steel Wheels welcome Robert Earl Keen, Punch Brothers, Sara Watkins/Sarah Jarosz/Aoife O’Donovan, The Wood Brothers, Cahalen Morrison & Eli West, The Honey Dewdrops w/ Caleb Stine and more.
